TAILORED FOR FIRE, POLICE and FIRST RESPONDER DEPARTMENTS IN THE MIDWEST REGION
Annual or Bi-Annual Wellness Consultations
HHS Counseling and Consultation has a targeted mission to make mental health education and care not only accessible—but impactful—for First Responders.
Our Wellness Consultation Program offers Departments individualized wellness consultations or check-ins for their personnel. This vital service plays a key role in reducing suicide rates and improving overall job satisfaction and performance.
These consultations can be scheduled annually or bi-annually and are designed to deliver culturally competent mental health screenings and prevention strategies focused on any job-related and/or personal stressors your employees may be experiencing.
Each confidential session provides First Responders with a safe, judgment-free space to speak with a clinician who understands the unique pressures of their role. Sessions include:

Personalized mental health screenings with feedback in identified areas of concern

Practical tools to cope with stress, trauma, and burnout

Expert guidance on issues such as sleep health, substance use, relationship challenges, work/life balance, coping strategies, critical incident exposure, stress management, retirement, and other life transitions

Access to mental health resources for follow-up care or treatment, if desired
It’s important to note that Wellness Consultations are not fitness-for-duty evaluations. These sessions are centered around education, prevention, and support. Confidentiality is respected at every stage, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Counseling Sessions are billed at $150 per hour. Cost of services are dependent upon Insurance Coverage. We accept HSA/FSA as a payment source and can provide supporting documentation.
Consulting and Training Services are billed directly to Police or Fire Departments. Contact me for additional pricing and information.
